Persiapan Pasien :

1. Mendapatkan  penjelasan tentang prosedur pemeriksaan
2. Mengisi surat persetujuan tindakan
3. Melepaskan aksesoris yang berifat radioopaque sebelum pemeriksaan
4. Menjalani pemeriksaan pendahuluan yaitu myelografi
5. Delay time sekitar 3 jam




Teknik Pemeriksaan

- Registrasi Pasien : ID, Nama, Body Parameter
- Lokator parameter sesuai area scanning
- Zerro positioning
- Topografi ( AP View dan Lat View), Length sesuaikan area scanning
- Acquisisi : Multislice
- Parameter (spine) : crevical / thoracal/ Lumbal, KV : 120, mAS 500
- Pitch 1 atau lebih rendah sesuaikan kompensasi total waktu scanning

Post Processing
Filming from 3D rekonstruksi
- MPR Axial windows mediastinum
- MPR Axial windows spine
- MPR Coronal windows spine
- MPR  sagital windows spine

Benefit :
- CT is an excelent imaging modality for studying bony abnormalities of the spine and other extradural lesions
- intra medular lesions are much more difficult to diagnose and are preferably examined using MRI
- Intra dural - extra medullary lesions are not well demonstrated by plain CT but CT myelography is usally diagnostik
- intrathecal contras administration usally clarifies the situation

Kesimpulan :
- Hal yang sangat menentukan hasil / kualitas imaging pada CT Myelografi
*delay tiome (waktu tunggu setelah dilakukan pemeriksaan pendahuluan s/d CT Myelografi)
* Parameter pada protokol terutama : pitch, re increment
